About Me: Sabrina Vlaskalic (1989) was born in Belgrade (Serbia). She has been playing the guitar since
she was 7. In the year of 2006 she graduated from Music High School “Vatroslav Lisinski” in
the class of Professor Aleksandar Hadzi Djordjevic and she is currently studying the guitar at
The Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade with Professor Srdjan Tosic. Sabrina attended a great
deal of master classes with the most eminent guitarists of today, such as: Pepe Romero, Oscar
Ghiglia, Manuel Baruecco, Pavel Steidl, Marcin Dylla, Susana Prieto, Alexis Muzurakis, Roland
Dyens, Sergio and Odair Assad, Dusan Bogdanovic, Gerhard Reichenbach, Costas Cotsiolis, Aniello
Desiderio, Denis Azabagic, Zoran Dukic, Goran Krivokapic and many others. She is the winner
of numerous National and International competitions. Sabrina has won over 10 special and 24
first prizes in solo guitar competitions all over the world: -1st prize and special prize,
European Competition for Young guitarists “Andres Segovia” (Velbert, Germany, 2004) -1st
prize, Sinaia International Guitar Festival (Sinaia, Romania, 2004) -1st prize and special
prize, Concorso Internazionale “Giovani Chitarristi” (Mottola, Italy, 2005) -Many 1st and
special prizes, International competition “Guitar Art Festival” (Belgrade, Serbia, 2004,
2006, 2007) -1st prize, International competition “Guitar Art Summer Fest” (Herceg Novi,
Montenegro, 2006) -1st prize and two special prizes (for the best interpretation of classical
piece and “EMCY Art for Music prize”), “Anna Amalia” Competition for Young Guitarists

Norwegian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Many times described as “new Ida Presti” (E.
Assimakopoulos, L. Zoe), Sabrina is considered to be one of the most talented young players and
she has already given many recitals and masterclasses all over Europe (Norway, Finland, Sweden,
Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Spain, Slovenia,
Montenegro, Serbia…). In 2009 she became a part of SAVAREZ family. “The jury's final
decision to appoint Sabrina Vlaskalic as the winner was motivated by her outstanding technique
and interpretation of her music. Her style is balanced and sensitive, with a natural feeling
for rubato. While subtle and expressive in the slow movements, in the fast and ebullient tempi
she plays with extravert power. The jury considers Sabrina Vlaskalic as one of today's most
